Merchants Agri-Business
The Merchant family has enjoyed a longstanding association with Australian agri-business and the assosciated challenges and rewards. Geoff Merchant offers clients over 40 years experience in orchard development and the export of horticultural produce to more than 23 countries. As Managing Director of one of Australia's largest fruit exporters Top-Qual (formerly Chilton Thompson & Co.) Geoff's contribution to industry included representation as Australia's delegate to Southern Hemisphere Association of Fresh Fruit Exporters (SHAFFE), Memebr of National Horticultural Policy Council and National Freight Negotiations.
Simon and Geoff have worked together supporting clients in land acquisition, orchard and agri-business development and management, sales and marketing of horticultural produce and as agents for the sale of a broad range of agir-businesses, not limited to horticulture.
